In a quest to touch the lives of disadvantaged and elderly women in the FCT, Women in Business WIB Fair has delivered at least 200 food bags in Waru village in the nation's capital, ABUJAPRESS reported.

WIB Fair is a strong group of women in business in the FCT who got together to create the "Give Her" initiative.






It was focused at having effect in communities not only earning money in company. "In WIB Fair, the Give Her program is a testimony to our commitment to making impact in our communities and not simply about earning profit in our diverse areas of business. It is also a sign of women's passion towards empowering people", Ebiere Empere the organizer of WIB Fair and the CEO Okads Seafood informed newsmen immediately after the delivery.

She said older ladies have not been appropriately provided attention, stressing that the expression of compassion is in keeping with the purpose of WIB Fair which firmly believes that charity and commerce may run hand in hand.

She expressed appreciation to every member of WIB Fair for their show of their goodwill.

Each bag of food includes products worth N10,000. They comprise, 1kg of rice, 1kg of beans, 1 kg of garri, sachet of groundnut oil, tiny sachets of maggi, spaghetti, sachet of tomato and salt.
